Thermal Performance and Optimizing of Composite Trombe Wall with Temperature-Controlled DC Fan in Winter

This paper discusses an improved approach to the Trombe wall: insulated panel is installed on inner side, and vents are at top bottom connect outer air layer with interior. Direct current (DC) fans in upper for stable control of circulation. The study first analyzed thermal performance this composite wall, which heat load was 27.3% less compared classic wall 32.1% case without wall. However, its efficiency heating room temperature not high heating. Then, we optimized ventilation efficiency, proportion room, type glazing. highest savings could be achieved when openings used temperature-controlled about 3% house floor area. With use Low-e double-glazing, were able save nearly 41.3% than that regular single-glazing. For after taking into account optimization factors, significantly higher, 52.3% energy pre-optimization period.
